Reflection

Each group member is required to reflect on their participation in the project in the following areas:
i) What is my individual contribution to the group project?
ii) What are the soft skills that I’ve learned from the group project?

i) I typed in a lot of data until i lost count of which one i was at. Luckily there was shawn to help me and we did a great tag-team job. I helped to figure out the changes from the project kit and appendices. I also helped to get the recurring entries. Rest of the time i was helping out in sorting out the project stuff. I also assisted ben in calculating figures for some accounts. I provided the thumb drive!

ii) I learnt that managing the work load is very important. No one can do many things at the same time and its unfair to the rest if one member does more work that the other. With proper managing, many tasks can be done simultaneously. When two tasks require each other's information, through proper planning, time would be saved as the information would be generated on time. Last but not least, I learnt that perserverance is a great element of success. In order to achieve goals, there is always a series of obstacles. As long as i persist, i will be successful. When the odds are against us, hope whispers go with your heart.

Day 9

The clock is ticking. Less then 12 hours more to our project deadline. hopefully we can rush this out by 2pm because of the class later at 2pm. But we had to re-post everything because someone else forgot to post a journal. For the first 4 hours, we did data entry forms. Damm tiring. While Ben does the final touch up. A hungry man is an angry man. Keep it down guys. Stop shouting!!! ENGAGE ENGAGE!! We printed the whole report only to find out we made a mistake in the front. Wasted paper. Should have check again. But we printed the WHOLE REPORT in 40 min. Last min forgot one report but luckily the teacher was kind enough to give us 10 min to re-print. Thank god. Our report was out at 230pm. SWEEE !!! What a relief.

Day 8

YYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Swee la. Today should be able to print and submit. But we got a profit while everyone else got a loss in the P&L statement. I guess we shall have to print it tomorrow. Guys tomorrow 8am.

Day 7

Recurring entries were very complex. I think we need another day to sort it out. Relax guys, I believe we can do it. Walao...... Why recurring entries so complex? why why why???

The edge of the cliff is near, are we able to take off in time?

Day 6

yessss ah, today we finished our general journals. probrbly finalize recurring entries tomorrow. i feel such a great sense of accomplishment. so totally know how accpac works now.

Day 5

today we completed AP system. tomorrow we will finish GL and hopefully wrap things up by wed.

DAY4

yes ahhhhhh. we finally completed the accounts recievable part of our project. one more step done. sweeeeeee
